If you’ve spent any amount of time with your bike in New York City, then you know it can be an unforgiving place. Bicycle Habitat mechanic Hal has made his internet career f0r Streetsblog by grading people’s bikes locked up in the streets of SoHo.       The Sheldon Brown method has a potential weakness, though! However, it’s
      unlikely going to be common on a somewhat busy street since it does make quite
      a spectacle.

        well he admitted to this in his article and gives the option to wrap your u-lock around the chainstay/seatstay. Also my frame has no room between the rear wheel and seattube to allow for a hacksaw..
