ICEdot Crash Sensor for Helmets Feb 28, 2014

ICEdot was at Frostbike and while I didn’t spend a whole lot of time looking at it, it caught my attention. I ride by myself almost always, as I’m sure most of you do too. What’s your take on this?

So it measure the force of impact to determine if you are knocked out? Not bad.
It’s a sensor that can be installed in any helmet?

From what I gather, yes and yes. The site has more info.

There are helmets being designed to fit the sensor better as well. POC octal is one of them. I am definitely interested in this for myself.

    I bought one.

Hope I never have to use it. Like my helmet.
