Roadrunner Bags: Evil Mini Short Sep 23, 2013

I know FYXO used this bag a lot in Los Angeles and seemed to enjoy it. Check out the latest from Roadrunner Bags, featuring some strange juxtapositions and the new Evil Mini backpack.

I don’t know if this guy has changed his approach/methods, but his site got posted in a biking thread on a music message board probably a year ago and a lot of people ended up ordering stuff from him; because at the time he was just getting started and his prices were way under normal market prices for handmade in the US stuff. The majority of people had problems/complaints with their orders, including me. My roll top had the stiching falling out on the buckle to one of the straps (so seriously, one of the most important parts of the bag) within a week. What followed was hands down the single worst customer service experience I’ve ever had, by far. Unless he’s completely changed how he makes his bags, and his attitude towards customers, I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Go with Mission Workshop I love the bag I got with them instead, or Timbuk2 (have one of their’s as well), or Chrome, or basically any other bag company.

Every story has 2 sides. I remember you Phil and I remember the story differently. Please, as a message to all; read the testimonials on our website Roadrunnerbags.US and form your own opinions.

We have the best customers a company can ask for, but sometimes someone pops up that really makes a dent on your moral.

Form your own opinions, not ones that others make.

Hey Brad, thanks for single-sidedly deciding to not refund the shipping I paid to send back the broken bag you sent me, that was really classy. Also good thing your friend Micah, at least on Facebook (that was really easy to find), is here to defend your honor and tell me to go “phuck” myself, whatever that means. Hopefully you’ve learned how to make a quality product and deal with customers. Best of luck.

Hi Phil, thanks for taking the time to get back to us about this. It seems very easy to post rude and nasty comments on the internet. Please, we would appreciate it if you contacted us in a more mature/ private way. Either by email or by phone. You can find the contact info on our website.

          Thanks!

Phuck Phil. before i started with tcb courier up here in sf i worked for a bike shop called Cherokee Street Bikes in STL, Missouri. roadrunner became our shop bag supplier because their shit is messenger quality and super low prices for what you get. now every phucking phixie kid in stl has a roadrunner to commute and take rad trips with, and they all love them. waterproof, durable, minimal, attractive. sold a ton of them and never had an issue. this other dude is obviously a penis with no life.

phil, grow up and stop wasting your time bad talking someones company. just because you didn’t get the princess treatment doesn’t mean you need to waste your time bad talking a company on social media. Last time i checked road runner is out here doing it. the fucking mash store sells there bags. thats gotta tell you something. go out and create ur own bag so we can sit here like children and talk shit on something you took time out of your day to sell and make a living off of.

      There is not Their.

    • Phil Williamson

Oh man dude you’re totally right. I didn’t get the “princess treatment” so I’m totally going out of my way to point out that a bunch of people, as well as myself, had a shitty experience with this company. Your grammar makes ten year old me want to cry by the way.

      • that dude

nice dude your on one today

I’ve never purchased a bag from RR but I’ve met Brad at a CX event and he was easy to talk to and willing to take some time to discuss a potential custom bag. There are several bag companies out there but for being a small, hand made, outfit I think he’s doing well. BTW, what metal song is that in the vid?

    • Brad Adams

Full of Hell – Kopf !

Daniel, when do we want to get that project of your’s up and running?

Email me, we have more Camo Cordura in stock that you may like!

Long time reader, first time poster. I bought my first bag from Brad in March of 2012, back when they were a way younger and smaller company. I received what I would call excellent customer service and a nearly bomb proof roll top(that I .still use as my daily carry bag) Since then I have ordered an 88l americano ,saddle roll, drafter pouch, hip bag, cell pouch, sammich wallet, belt wallet and probably a few items that I’ve forgotten. Each one was made flawlessly with nothing wrong with them.ever. I’ve overloaded both bags numerous times and strapped mega loads to them, always arriving at my destination with bags intact. Brad and Brianna are two of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met. Phil, don’t be such a pussy and learn some tact.

I was cool with this until you made that sexist comment. Leave “pussy” out of it.

      • Phil Williamson

Another facebook friend of Brad’s telling me to “learn some tact” while calling me a pussy. Hmmm.

        • Jeremy Suppes

First off, you are not a pussy Phil. that was uncalled for. And yes, you found me out……I’m friends with Brad on facebook. I’m also friends with all kinds of people, some that I’ve never met in real life. We could be friends on facebook too, but I really don’t see that happening. You just sound like the kind of guy that is never happy with anyhthing he has so you get on the internet and talk shit to make yourself feel better about the situation. Your story has maaaaany holes in it, especially when discussing the customer service you received. I find it really hard to believe that youre straps broke within a week. ive had my roll top for over 18 months and i use it every single day. Not one issue. Maybe you would be better off buying a jansport or a herschel bag so you know what you’re getting into.

  • kaseyirl

I use my RR drafter every day and it’s never failed me, and this was before they improved upon the design. plus the video is super cheesy, in a good way. I would buy from them again
