Keith Anderson Cycles: How the Master Masks Jan 28, 2011

Keith Anderson is a master of what he does: painting bicycle frames, both restorations and new projects. He is world-renown for his delicately-masked paint and here’s a perfect example of how the master masks. The above photos shows him masking a window in a bottom bracket lug.

And here’s the final product. Insanity. This is only the tip of the iceberg. If you want to have your mind blown, check out his Flickr.

    Hey John,

You should check out this bike painter from SF. I intern for him and watch him kick out some beautiful bikes. Local one man operation with two interns (including myself) who help with the stripping and prep of frames for paint.
