Outlier: Soft Core Wool Vest and Long Action Merino Tee Oct 10, 2010

It’s fall (finally) and that means new products from NYC-based clothing company Outlier. New for this year are their Soft Core Wool Vest and Long Action Merino Tees. Check out the details below:

Soft Core Wool Vest:
Three layers of highly breathable insulation for a comfortable body climate, versatile outdoor performance and crisp, clean look. A soft core of knit superfine New Zealand merino on the inside, an outer face of virgin wool flannel and a 120 gram, military-grade Primaloft Infinity insulation sandwiched between. Nice and warm, but designed to avoid overheating. Additional features include handwarming front pockets, a two way metal zip and a reach around pocket on the rear. Experimental edition of 12. Available in Charcoal Gray from the Outlier webshop. $348.

Long Action Merino Tee
This long sleeve ultrafine merino base layer has a gusseted sleeve and dart contoured shoulder give it an elegant free range of action. The 17.5 micron New Zealand merino is worth wearing for it’s luxurious soft handfeel alone, but it’s the performance side of the fabric that really kills it. Merino has the incredible ability to suck moisture into the very core of the fiber itself, keeping you dry and warm even when you push yourself hard. It’s remarkable natural odor and wrinkle resistance make it a great travel item and key core piece for the cooler months. Available in fiery orange from the Outlier webshop. $101.

Just wait till you see what else is rolling out of their shop this year!
