Stijn Cycles: 666 Series Aug 29, 2010

Ok, last time I mentioned “666” or Satan, there was a slew of hate. Are you guys gonna behave yourselves this time? At least with regards to Stijn Cycles‘ new 666 Series, it’s a reference to the tubing used.

The 666 Series is their new line of track frames made from triple butted 6066 aluminum. It’s not the 666 that caught my eye as much as the beautifully-detailed chrome lining inside the chain and seat stays. Seriously, even in show bikes, I’ve never seen something that nice. I’m impressed! Read up more on Stijn Cycles and see more photos at their Flickr.

  • That blue one….O.O i want!!!

  • beautiful frames! im liking their steel “gent” especially, any idea about availability/pricing?

  • Todd

    nice frames!
wonder how much of a hit to the pocket for one of those?

  • How much do they go for?
Anybody knows the price range of Stijn in general?

  • come on

those welds are gross. they went to all the trouble to shoot the frame in a studio and put up all that nice paint and didnt even bother to clean up the welds. that’s just lazy. aluminum can look nice and smooth, it doesnt have to look like a botched up scar.

  • Cheers John,

actually the yellow one is a Columbus steel one for Veit – you’ll see more of that monster soon! Guess you didn’t notice my bike at the CMWC as much as Kevin did; http://www.flickr.com/photos/pommesking/3941134191/in/set-72157622422998580/
After all, you were in pain :)

As far as pricing etc goes; the 666 will be a production frame only – and cheaper then the steel frames who can be ordered as customs. Best to write me an email and gimme some time to reply – we’re currently building up the Eurobike booth!
