Tears for Gears: 5 Days Until the Paris-Roubaix Apr 6, 2010

Leave it to Jeremy at Tears for Gears to dig up the best articles from the early 90’s professional cycling circuit. Take this 1994 article from Cycling magazine on the Paris-Roubaix. The artwork is amazing. That little devil would make a rad tattoo.

Keep an eye on Tears for Gears this weekend. I hear he’s got something in store for all of us!

If you’re in the neighborhood this weekend. A few guys are throwing a Brooklyn Cobbles Ride. Here are the deets:

1. 1pm: Meet up at Old Stone House on Sunday
2. 2pm: roll out
3. 5ish: return
4. Beers/foods in the general area. Either The Gate, Park Slope Ale House, or location TBD.

Also: if anyone puts this in their blawg or whatever, please add that it’s a friendly little ride not affiliated with any responsible entity. If the rider has a flat or breaks a fork or gets punched by Bernard Hinault we’ll help out but we’re not culpable.

I’ll be there. You should do the same!
