Feather Cycles: Prototype Fixed Freestyle Frame Apr 22, 2010

Ricky from Feather Cycles just shot me a photo of his new 700c fixed freestyle frame and fork in the works. It looks like it’ll be pretty light weight and have good clearances. Apologies for the cellphone pic. Once he takes proper photos, I’ll update the post.

    Pierced toptube makes sense when strength is needed… This one has a wishbone if you look closely! Cheers for the post John!

    Diggin that fork!

  • Ricky

    Look at pics of bmx frames from 10-15 yrs ago! Pierced top tube galore! This also has cranked chainstays!

  • Ricky

    The fork has hand cut dropouts to perfectly follow the lines of the spacers of the g-sport front hub!

    It isn’t an esb copy, it’s made to measure. The owner (Jammy) told Ricky what he wanted and he built it. I have a Feather, it is the dogs!

    …and the Gangster did the pierced top tube on a fixed frame before the ESB & Yamaguchi / 3Rensho ran the seat stays through the seat tube before GT… its all progression! Good work Ricky!

    It’s not an ESB at all, completely different builder and the frame is design differently, you can see more of it in the LFGSS;
